This tape meets or exceeds FRA-224 specifications regarding Reflectorization of Rail Freight Rolling Stock
The Federal Rail Administration (FRA) published a final rule in January 2005: CFR part 224, Reflectorization of Rail Freight Rolling Stock. This rule states that reflective tape must be applied to new freight cars and locomotives when they're put into service, and 10% of existing units each year, until visibility has been enhanced throughout the whole fleet.
Railcar Conspicuity Tape is available in a 50-yard rolls and is self-adhesive. This tape meets or exceeds FRA-224 specifications regarding Reflectorization of Rail Freight Rolling Stock.
